Portland, Oregon based synthpop duo, Ritual Springs, creates heavily electronic and emotionally driven songs.

Scottie Foertmeyer and Jared Kurzawa first met in the vibrant arts and music community of Athens, Ohio. In 2009, they formed hardcore punk band, MORGUE, while living in an old morgue they converted into a show space.

Four years later, Scottie was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and lost his ability to play drums. The duo reunited in Portland and adopted a new approach. Scottie took on vocal duties over Jared's synth-laden pop tracks.

Ritual Springs was born.
